Andy Pechenik, technician
Born and raised in Miami. Andy Pechenik spent his early years as a local musician in garage bands, cover bands, new wave and punk bands and running live sound for friends and acquaintances. He took music theory at MDCC while still in High School and went on to study as a Music Major at USF in Tampa, not satisfied with music education as a career he left USF and meandered playing in bands, doing live sound and taking classes at various local south Florida colleges, finally discovering a specific interest he completed a BS in electronics. He worked at various jobs in electronics before returning to the music business in 1985 this time as a technician and then Chief Engineer at criteria Studios. He worked at criteria as technician and then Chief Engineer until 1991, from that time to the present he has his own business doing studio installations and maintenance for large and small clients.
In the early 90s he also joined the staff of Crescent Moon Studios which was already one of his freelance clients, and that is where he is today, maintaining CMSs audio and video suites and running a freelance repair, installation and consultation business.
